Course Description

Hostility in the workplace has become an increasing problem for both employees and supervisors. Employees have long had to deal with hostility from customers but the level, frequency and severity seems to be on the rise. Now, more and more managers and employees are experiencing an increasing hostility within the organization – among each other.

This workshop is designed to provide an overview of new and innovative ways to understand and deal with hostility and anger. Information, old and new, is presented, the dynamics of hostility are reviewed, and techniques are practiced. The workshop provides participants with practical and job specific ways to deal with hostile and violent situations.

  • The dynamics of anger
  • Four triggers of anger
  • Ways to recognize a person who is mentally disturbed and intervene
  • Techniques that can be used in hostile or angry situations

Course Fee: $160

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than ten (10) business days prior to the start of the class will not be charged. If payment has already been made, it will be refunded. Cancellations received ten (10) or less business days before the start of the class will be charged at full price. This late cancellation charge compensates RTC for the non-refundable costs incurred prior to the start date of the course.
No Shows: A No Show on the day of the class will result in a full charge for the class.
