Domestic Violence for First Responders

Course Description

This one-day, 8-hour course is aimed at patrol officers and supervisors who are responsible for the first response to domestic violence calls. It provides up-to-date information to assist first responders in the safe and successful handling of domestic violence incidents. The course meets the continued professional training hours and the domestic violence mandate under PC 13519(e), and required Advanced Officer Training.

Course Fee Information:

Reimbursement Plan II: There is no tuition for POST reimbursable agencies. Student travel and per diem reimbursement will be via Training Reimbursement Request (TRR) for POST reimbursable agencies only.
Non-Reimbursable agencies: No tuition. There is no reimbursement for travel and per diem.
