This Talent Development Seminar is a three-hour, fast-paced workshop offered by SDRTC in coordination with Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU), a private liberal arts university in San Diego, California. Sessions are taught by leading professional trainers. Participants will explore how their strengths show up in their daily work activities, which work activities align well with their strengths and those that do not. Focus is given to creating strategies for accomplishing tasks that are less energizing. Participants will understand what they need from colleagues and their supervisor because of their strengths. Lastly, members of the team will have a chance to learn what their team members need the most from the team for optimal work performance.
After enrolling, each student will be sent a Strengths Based Leadership book to read, which will include a code used to access a comprehensive online Gallup “Strengthsfinder Assessment” to take prior to the seminar.
*All participants must take the Gallup “Strengthsfinder Assessment” prior to the seminar.
