CA POST CERTIFIED LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING
RESPONDING TO ENVIRONMENTAL CRIMES |

This course is intended to develop fundamental skills for law enforcement to safely respond to and identify an environmental crime, initiate the investigative process and coordinate with all necessary allied agencies. Students will learn how to recognize potential environmental crime scenes and how to respond safely. Various environmental crime situations will be discussed and clearly defined in class. Legal concerns and codes will be defined along with recommended reporting procedures. The tactical response will be discussed and allied agency response and resources will be clarified with the most up-to-date information available. The course is presented by experts from various disciplines currently assigned to environmental crimes investigation and prosecution.
This class is designed specifically for first responders and Sergeants from Southern California. It is anticipated that additional classes will be presented in other areas of California later in the year. |
